Crossword

The Lipreader program comes with a number of pre-loaded crossword puzzles. Your task is to select a line in the grid, and to identify the word that goes there. Animation is similar to most other Lipreader features, and you can use Mouthshapes or Fingerspell signs. Clues are available, and, if all else fails, you can ask to see the answer.

Partly completed solutions can be saved if you want to continue at another time.

Wordsearch

With the wordsearch puzzle, your task is to select a word box, and to try to identify the word that belongs in it, by observing Mouthshapes or Fingerspell signs. Having identified the word, you then have to find it in the grid.

Partly completed solutions can be saved if you want to continue at another time.

Wordpairs

In a wordpairs puzzle you have to find sets of three words. The first and second word are commonly used together, and so are the second and third word, but not the first and third. Your task is to select a blank box, and to identify the word that goes in it. In most of the Lipreader wordpair puzzles, many words are already filled in.

As with the other puzzles, partly completed solutions can be saved if you want to continue at another time.
